+84 is a traditional Vietnamese restaurant that focuses on the authentic taste of the cuisine. The brand targets the Vietnamese community abroad, providing the taste of home amidst a foreign country so they can feel the warmth of their homeland. For others, +84 puts forward a more adventurous taste, much different than the foreign-marketed Viet dishes.
Test Flight
Test Flight Test Flight 2025 is a visual identity for AIGA Chicago that stood apart from previous years' concepts while adhering to the event’s purpose, a professional portfolio review. The goal was to create engaging visuals that have an inviting and playful tone to draw attendees into the event.
Flatland
This project is a redesign of the novel Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott, published in 1884. Simplified illustrations as well as experimental layouts were used to show its weirdness. The second part of the novel is designed to be challenging to read to match the chaotic vibe of the story.
Anthology
ănthology is a publication design centered around a collection of articles exploring Vietnamese food culture, particularly through the lens of immigrant chefs and the global Viet food scene. “ăn” in Vietnamese means to eat, dine, feast, or consume, a tribute to the project’s focus on food as a bridge between cultures.
Vinh Thuan
Vĩnh Thuận is a Vietnamese flour brand founded in 1985. The packaging redesign aimed to encourage young people to embrace and preserve Vietnam’s traditional food culture, while also introducing international audiences to the richness of our cuisine while proposing a better way to store the product.
