A conceptual outdoor, hiking gear brand designed by Tina Tan. Inspired by companies named after mountains like Cotopaxi, and being in awe while spending the last winter break of her undergraduate studies in Switzerland, tödi is similarly named and designed after a mountain range and sunrise in the Swiss Alps.
Eb & Flow
An evolutionary redesign of the logo of an existing, local yoga studio in the neighborhood of Bucktown in Chicago. Tina Tan simplified the logo to one color, a blue associated with the ocean and its waves that ebb and flow, resonating with the balance of Yin-Yang energy.
Lovely Earth Stamps
Inspired by research on Gerard Unger and Gail Anderson, typographic designers who made stamps for their countries’ postal services, Lovely Earth is imagined USPS stamps based on Tina Tan’s love for writing and sending handwritten letters. She uses her own photography from her (solo) travels to Guatemala, Ecuador, and Colorado.
