STELLA MARTINEZ
Maya
Inspired by Mayan culture, I designed a handmade black canvas tote featuring Mayan-inspired typography, transferred with care using transfer paper. Paired with a printed matte type specimen card, this project combined my love for design and sewing, celebrating the culture’s rich history, artistry, and symbolism.
Luma
For my Publication Design class, I created a mental health magazine focused on overthinking. Featuring interviews, articles, an infographic, and personal stories, it blends calm visuals with meaningful content—designed to comfort, inform, and spark open conversations about mental wellness.
Identity Projects
Identity Projects is an ongoing collection exploring my personal design style. I use gradients, shades of purple, and the Montserrat font to create cohesive, modern visuals—often paired with literal, humorous titles that reflect my ADHD and creative process. It’s a playful, evolving self-branding journey.
RIZO graph
This collection of risograph prints showcases bold textures and vibrant colors discovered at my college’s print center. I layered experimental typography using InDesign and Illustrator, incorporating transparent overlays for depth. The result is a dynamic, multi-sized series that felt effortless, organic, and creatively rewarding.
Lunes
For Graphic Design 3, I created a brand identity for an eco-friendly body scrub made from leftover coffee grounds. Blending sustainability and self-care, the project featured a modern, approachable aesthetic with a full identity system—logo, packaging, type, color palette, and promotional mockups.
